Yes, currently the desktop app requires an internet connection to access your timetables. We are working on offline mode which will be available soon, allowing you to view and work with your timetables without an internet connection.
Will my data sync between the web and desktop apps?
Absolutely! Your timetables, settings, and all data are automatically synced across all platforms. Work on your desktop app at school, and see the same data when you log in from the web app at home.
How do I update the desktop app?
Download the latest version from this page and install it over your existing copy - your data lives in the cloud, so nothing is lost. Built-in update notifications are coming soon.
Is the desktop app secure?
Yes, the desktop app uses the same enterprise-grade security as our web platform. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and installers are served directly from timetablemaster.com.
